As the kids are out of school they get to do magic things like laser tag. Mom takes a break sitting on her bum and drawing things around her. All are engaged in their own kind of Magic.

O.K. I admit it I love to collect things so for the next couple days I will share my collections...

These are trinkets that I used to keep on the top of my bookcase.
The old wooden shoe tree belonged by my grandpa f. we think it came from Ireland or New York circa 1920... That little patent leather "mary jane" belonged to my kid cat circa 1992. The old white truck at the far left reminds me of Hoosick Falls and Uncle Larry's truck that we used to deliver eggs out of...

Other small collections that I have are buttons, pens, markers, matchboxes, lighthouses and corks from wine bottles... only just started that one...

Do you collect? Great book from Mary Engelbreit is called "collections" published in 2000. Collecting requires time and organization two items that I am working on ... continually ...

"HOME for the holidays" it is an ornament, did you see? Here at this home there is a couple of days left until Christmas and the kiddies can't wait. It has been so cold and windy here that three ribbons that once were on our house or mail box have taken a hike (rather taken flight) into the great unknowns with all the other ribbons of the neighborhood... Happy Holidays -
We have our lights, ribbons and wreaths up! I've got to write a few notes to my family and I need to complete my gift giving list so it is the Holidays, alright.
I'd like to try and bake something this year, HAH, note the word try. My kid cat loves to cook, so she will more than likely enjoy this. My kid stone could care less about the process of cooking but he will eat the proceeds, providing that they are any good ... I've watched some Christmas movies, that always remind me of the goodness of people, but this morning what really brought the seaon to mind was the wind and cold weather!! Who would have believed that could be all it takes, now just keeping my fingers crossed against the snow as that always gives me more hurdles to jump. Right now, I am trying to enjoy the simple cool weather which always has me feeling better. Cheers, Patty
