Hi Patty,
Congrats on your first carve. It was fun, wasn't it?
You can learn a lot about carving on several yahoogroups, including carving consortium, erasercuts and the new swapzine, which is a collaborative project among carvers. I can also recommend stampeaz.com as a good site with info about carving material and tools.
Thanks very much Karen!
Definetly going to check these urls this is a new addition :)

Great, Patty! Congratulations! What size is this? Is a "soft block" print carved on an eraser?
Cool, I love it. I have done a few of these. I always feel like I'm going to loose a finger or something during the carving! Great work Patty.
this looks real folksy =) I love it! congrats!
Hey, I made a leaf just like that two years ago! :) I love it Patty! I am working on a journal spread where I am using some of my original eraser carved stamps. I should have the journal part finished some time this week, so I can post the entire spread. I have a whole tray of these eraser stamps that I've messsed with... it can become addicting. HAHA!
This is a beautiful print :) Welcome to printmaking!
