i've never heard of a "protest house"...what's that about? love gaudily painted houses though, there are many in my neighbourhood...always something fun to look at while stuck in traffic!

Hey Patty, you were up here in my turf - western MA! I'll have to check out the "Protest House" next time I go through Hoosick Falls. Glad you got to see the Norman Rockwell Museum - isn't it fun?

p.s. A doctor in the next town did the same thing. He painted the victorian house (in which he had his offices) in about 5 different- very bright!- colors. *G* Shortly afterwards the town passed an ordnance, but couldn't make it retroactive. They sure were glad when he retired and sold the house! *LOL*
